Founded in 2026, New Chapter Ceremonies was born from Rev. Tara Gibbs‘ belief that life’s most meaningful transitions deserve to be witnessed, celebrated, and remembered. An ordained minister, educator, womanist, and self-proclaimed geek, Tara creates personalized ceremonies that honor each person’s unique story. Inspired by the memory of loved ones whose identities and journeys were not fully celebrated during their lifetimes, she is committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces where every person, family, and milestone can be honored with dignity, joy, and authenticity. From weddings and adoptions to name changes, sobriety milestones, and other life transitions, New Chapter Ceremonies helps people mark the moments that shape who they are and who they are becoming.
